Intellectual property

Personal data
In accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679 and the French Data Protection Act, the following applies.
Controller
Sarah CAILLAT. Contact: contact@make-my-ugc.com
What is collected, and why
- Name, email, phone number. Used to process your order, issue your invoice and deliver your files. Legal basis: performance of the contract.
- Product URL and creative brief. Used to produce the videos you ordered. Legal basis: performance of the contract.
- Payment data. Collected and processed solely by Stripe. We receive only a confirmation of payment and the billing details needed for the invoice. Legal basis: performance of the contract and legal accounting obligations.
No advertising cookies, analytics trackers or third-party profiling tools are used on this site.
Data stored in your browser
While you are composing an order, the contents of your basket (formats, quantities, durations, languages) are saved locally in your own browser so you don't lose your selection if the page reloads. No name, email address, phone number or brief is ever stored this way, and the basket is cleared once the order is submitted. You can also clear it at any time via your browser settings.
Retention
- Order and contact details: 3 years from the last contact, for commercial follow-up.
- Invoices and accounting records: 10 years, as required by French commercial law.
- Video files and the download link we send you: kept for 7 days after delivery, then permanently deleted from our storage. Please download and back up your files within that period. Your own copies remain yours indefinitely.
Recipients
Your data is never sold, rented or shared for marketing purposes. It is accessible only to Sarah CAILLAT and to the service providers strictly necessary to fulfil the order:
- Stripe Payments Europe, Ltd. (Dublin, Ireland) for payment and invoicing. Data is processed within the European Union; where Stripe transfers data to its United States entity, it does so under the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.
- Netlify, Inc. (San Francisco, United States) for hosting. Transfers to the United States are covered by the Standard Contractual Clauses in Netlify's data processing agreement.
- Brevo (Sendinblue SAS, Paris, France) for the emails sent about your order. Data is hosted in the European Union.
- Google Ireland Ltd. for the delivery of your files through Drive. Google LLC is certified under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework, which the European Commission recognised as providing an adequate level of protection.
No other third party receives anything. This site loads no advertising script, no analytics and no font from an external server: the typefaces are served from this domain precisely so that no request leaves it without your knowledge.
Your rights
You have the right to access, rectify, erase and port your data, to restrict or object to its processing, and to define directives regarding its fate after your death. To exercise any of these rights, write to contact@make-my-ugc.com. A reply will be sent within one month.
Order terms
Before paying, every client must tick a box confirming they have read and accepted the order terms. Those terms cover delivery, revisions, refunds, usage rights, price revision and governing law. Where a custom order is taken as a monthly subscription, they also set out the term, automatic renewal, how to cancel or pause, and what happens to videos already delivered.
Governing law
This site and these notices are governed by French law. Any dispute falls under the exclusive jurisdiction of the Paris courts.
